How IslamicKnot works

IslamicKnot is a Muslim marriage site where the first conversation happens with the family. Men browse reviewed profiles for free, make five commitments, and pay once to receive her wali’s number. Sisters join free, and no man can message them. Revert sisters without a Muslim wali get introductions our team supervises.
For brothers: from a profile to her family in four steps
A man goes from a profile to her family in four steps, and never messages her directly.
Browse anonymously
No account is needed to look. Search reviewed profiles by faith, background and family situation. You see her first name, age, city and the details her family chose to share; public photos are softly blurred.
Make five commitments
Before your first contact request, you declare five things, the first four sworn with “I bear Allah as my witness”: you keep the five daily prayers; you will never ask her or her family for financial help, or expect them to pay for furnishing the home; you are able to start a family, with a halal income and no illness that would prevent marriage; you don’t abuse any substance, and you are open about it if you smoke; and you have read her profile and requirements and believe you are a genuine match. A “no” to any of the first four closes your account. Her wali will ask you about each one.
Pay once, receive the wali’s number
One family contact costs US$5; three cost US$12 and five cost US$15. You pay once per profile, and you always see the family’s current number. Before paying you can see whether she is marked “in talks” and whether other families have been in touch recently.
Speak to her wali and proceed as families
You call her father or brother and continue off the platform, the way families always have. You never message her directly.

For revert sisters with no Muslim wali: supervised introductions
If you have embraced Islam and have no Muslim relative to act as your wali, create your own free profile. Your number and email are never shown. When a man wants to be introduced, he pays and our team opens a conversation inside IslamicKnot with three people in it: you, him and a member of our team, with contact details filtered out. We are a chaperone, not your wali; for the nikah itself, an imam or Islamic centre can act as your wali.

What we never do
IslamicKnot never offers private chat, clear public photos, subscriptions or ads:
- No private chat, likes, swiping or matching.
- No clear public photo of any sister: public photos are blurred, and a clear one is shared only by her family.
- No subscriptions or automatic renewals.
- No ads, and no selling of anyone’s data.
Questions
Do I need an account to browse?
No. Anyone can browse reviewed profiles without signing up. You only need an account when you ask to contact a family.
Can I message her?
No. There is no private messaging on IslamicKnot. On a profile listed with her wali, you receive his number; on a revert sister’s profile, you get a supervised introduction.
What do I get for one contact?
The current phone number of her wali, for that one family, kept in “My contacts” so you never pay twice for the same profile. On a revert sister’s profile, you get a supervised introduction instead.
Is there a subscription?
No. You pay only when you ask to contact a family, and nothing renews automatically.
How are profiles checked?
A person reviews every profile before it appears, and IslamicKnot’s team checks that the wali’s number on a sister’s profile belongs to her wali. Guardians can confirm their identity with an official ID for a Verified badge.
What if she is “in talks”?
You can see that before you pay. Families mark a profile “in talks” when they are speaking to someone, and paused profiles are hidden from search.
