IslamicKnot pricing: free to browse, US$5 a family contact
Last updated
IslamicKnot is free to browse, and listing a profile costs nothing. A seeker pays only when he chooses to contact a family: US$5 for one, US$12 for 3 or US$15 for 5, paid once, in US dollars. There is no subscription, and nothing renews.
What is free
Browsing, listing a profile and receiving enquiries are all free.
- Browsing. Search reviewed profiles without an account.
- Listing a profile. Creating and keeping a profile costs nothing, whether the sister, her wali or a revert sister creates it. There is no premium tier and no fee to be listed.
- Receiving enquiries. Every enquiry reaches the wali's phone at no cost to the family. Only a seeker can buy anything on IslamicKnot.
What a seeker pays
A seeker pays only to contact a family: US$5 for one, US$12 for 3 or US$15 for 5, paid once.
| What you buy | Price | Per contact |
|---|---|---|
| One family contact | US$5 | US$5 |
| 3 contacts | US$12 | US$4 |
| 5 contacts | US$15 | US$3 |
Prices are in US dollars, for everyone. You pay once, through Stripe, and we don't store your card details. Before your first contact you confirm a short declaration; what it says. See also what brothers get for each contact.
What one contact unlocks
One contact unlocks her wali’s phone number, or, on a revert sister’s profile, a supervised introduction.
- On a profile listed with her wali: the wali's phone number, her father's or her brother's. You continue with the family, off the platform. The number a seeker unlocks is always the family's current one, at no extra cost if it changes.
- On a revert sister's profile: a supervised introduction, a conversation inside IslamicKnot with a member of our team present in every message. Contact details are filtered out, and her own number is never shared.
- Once per profile. You never pay twice for the same profile: a family you have contacted stays in My contacts.
A seeker can see, before paying, whether she is marked “in talks” and whether families have reached out in the last 30 days, without an exact count. Paused profiles are hidden, so every profile in search is open to enquiries.
No subscription, nothing renews
No subscription and nothing recurring. Browsing is free, and you pay only when you choose to contact a family or book a supervised introduction. IslamicKnot runs no ads and sells no data.
Refunds
IslamicKnot purchases are non-refundable. The terms of service say:
“Purchases are non-refundable, except where the law requires a refund; fraudulent chargebacks may result in account suspension.”
If a profile becomes unavailable just before your request completes, nothing is revealed and the credit stays on your account.
Questions about pricing
IslamicKnot charges only the person who asks to contact a family, once per family, and never by subscription.

Which is cheaper, IslamicKnot or a Muzz Gold subscription?
IslamicKnot has no subscription: a man pays once per family, US$5 for one contact, US$12 for three or US$15 for five. On the US App Store, Muzz Gold ran from $9.99 to $41.99 when we last checked our Muzz Gold page (26 September 2026), and Muzz says matching and chat stay free without Gold. Which costs less depends on how many families you contact and how long you would subscribe.

Yes. IslamicKnot is free for sisters and walis everywhere, including the Netherlands, Germany and France.

Do I need a photo or a selfie?
No photo is required, hijab and niqab photos are welcome, and you will not be asked to remove your hijab or niqab for a photo. Public photos are softly blurred, and a clear photo is only shared privately by your family after contact. Guardians who want the Verified badge confirm their identity with an official ID document; that is optional.
How this compares
IslamicKnot has no subscription and nothing recurring, while many platforms sell optional weekly-to-annual subscriptions and some are free: you pay only when you contact a family or book a supervised introduction. Which model costs less depends on how many people you contact. Free tiers, cheapest paid options and auto-renewal are compared in what Muslim marriage apps cost in 2026, and private chat, the wali, photos and price in Muslim marriage apps and sites compared.
