What each platform lets you do for free, its cheapest paid option, whether paid plans renew automatically, and the cheapest way for a man to start conversations with three women. Two ways to pay

A subscription charges for time; a per-family fee charges per contact. Which costs less depends on how many families you contact, and on how long you search. On a subscription, a slow month costs the same as a busy one, and most plans renew automatically until you cancel. On a per-contact model, browsing costs nothing, and you pay only when you act.

On the chat apps, the core is free: Muzz says “It’s always FREE to see profiles, match, chat & marry on Muzz”, and Salams is free “for all of our main features”. Their subscriptions buy reach: more likes, filters and visibility. On the older matrimonial sites, messaging itself is usually the paid part. What you pay for on IslamicKnot, and what you see before paying

What sets it apart: it is the only platform in this table without a subscription of any kind. Three family contacts cost US$12, less than a month of Pure Matrimony Premium ($13.99) or Half Our Deen ($19), or a week of Muslima Gold ($19.99). And none of the six others says it shows, before you pay, whether a woman is already in talks.

• Browsing is free and needs no account. Listing a profile costs nothing, whether the sister, her wali or a revert sister creates it.
• Contacting a family costs US$5, paid once. Packs are cheaper: US$12 for 3 contacts, or US$15 for 5. Prices are in US dollars, for everyone; our pricing page lists what is free, what one contact unlocks and the refund terms.
• What you get: her wali’s phone number, and nothing else. If the family changes the number later, you see the new one at no extra cost.
• A supervised introduction with a revert sister costs one contact credit, the same as contacting a family.
• No subscription and nothing recurring. There are no ads, and we don’t sell data.
• What you see first. A seeker can see, before paying, whether she is marked “in talks” and whether families have reached out in the last 30 days, without an exact count. Paused profiles are hidden, so every profile in search is open to enquiries.
