Salams: the wali option, formalised

Salams (formerly Minder) has millions of members and is especially strong in North America. Its distinguishing feature for practising families: a woman can set her profile to require a wali, and Salams Premium gives a guardian read-only access to chats. Otherwise the shape is familiar — profiles, filters, matching, in-app chat, with a Premium tier for visibility and unlimited likes.

Choose Salams if you want the chat-app format but with the wali’s presence formalised rather than ad-hoc — and your community skews North American.

The shared assumption — and the third model

For all their differences, Muzz and Salams agree on the architecture: two individuals match and chat privately, and the family can be added. The wali is a feature.
